Read eBooks on your Android device
Step 1 - Get an Adobe ID
An Adobe ID enables your Android device to authenticate the digital rights of eBooks that you download.
Step 2 - Install App
Open the Android Market on your Android device and search for 'Overdrive'.
Install and open the free Overdrive Media Console app.
If you cannot use the Android Market on your device, the app can also be downloaded here...
Step 3 - Authorise App
In the Overdrive Media Console app, open the Menu and select 'App Settings'.
Under 'eBook Options', enter your Adobe ID (email address) and password, and select 'Authorize'.
Step 4 - Buy an eBook
Visit Booku (on your Android device, PC/Mac or other device) and purchase an eBook.
IMPORTANT: Android can only read Adobe ePub eBooks - Adobe PDF eBooks are not supported.
Step 5 - Download and Read eBook
On your Android device, point your browser to booku.com/m and enter your Booku account details to login.
Download the eBook on your device. Overdrive Media Console will recognise the download and will open the eBook for you to read.
The download file is an .acsm file which triggers the eBook download in Overdrive Media Console. More information about .acsm issues can be found here.
